The Michener Institute is Canada's leading post-secondary educational institution for applied health sciences. Founded in 1958 and located in downtown Toronto, Michener's unique combination of theory, laboratory instruction and clinical education prepares health professionals to meet the growing demands of Canada's health care system. Michener's expertise in applied health science education is nationally and internationally renowned. TIRF is a national, independent charitable road safety institute. St. Andrew's is recognized by the United Church as the primary centre for theological education and ordination in the Prairie region.
