Vermont Higher Education Collaborative’s mission is to collaborate with Vermont’s higher education institutions, state & local agencies and other organizations to make quality preparation, training and support programs accessible to schools, early childhood and human service providers, educators and educators-to-be. VT-HEC seeks out experts in each field it addresses to work together to design and deliver high-quality learning opportunities and supports in areas of critical need that could not be delivered by one organization alone and that help ensure the success of every child and student.

Manhattan College is a Lasallian Catholic educational institution founded in 1853 by the De La Salle Christian Brothers, a religious teaching order started by Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the patron saint of teachers. THE FOUNDATION IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF NEW YORK STATE FOR THE PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF ACCEPTING,HOLDING,INVESTING AND ADMINISTERING ANY PROCEEDS OR PROPERTIES RESULTING FROM GIFTS, BEQUESTS, DEVISES OR FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND DISBURSING OR DONATING THE INCOME OR PRINCIPAL THEREOF FOR BENEFIT OF NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE INCLUDING, AMONG OTHER THINGS, THE MAKING OF GRANTS AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO FACULTY AND STUDENTS, THE MAKING OF GRANTS TO NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE FOR OPERATING AND CAPITAL EXPENDITURES, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR CONTINUING DEVELOPMENT OF THE FACULTY AND STAFF AND PROGRAMS OF NASSAU COMMUNITY COLLEGE.

CANISIUS COLLEGE IS A PRIVATE, INDEPENDENT ROMAN CATHOLIC COLLEGE, GOVERNED BY AN INDEPENDENT SELF PERPETUATING BOARD OF TRUSTEES UNDER A CHARTER GRANTED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE COLLEGE OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK. ESTABLISHED AS A LIBERAL ARTS COLLEGE, THE COLLEGE HAS GROWN TO INCLUDE A GRADUATE DIVISION, A SCHOOL OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION, A SCHOOL OF EDUCATION AND HUMAN SERVICES, AND A SUMMER SESSION IN ADDITION TO THE COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES.
