The mission of the SF State University Foundation is to foster and encourage private financial support for San Francisco State University. This includes money, property, works of art, historical papers and documents, museum specimens of educational, artistic or historical value and any other assets of value of any description.The Foundation operates in the State of California and serves students attending SF State University.

The University's most significant activities are education, research, medical services and other public services. THE UNIVERSITY SEEKS "...TO DISCOVER, preserve and disseminate knowledge; produce creative work; and promote a culture of broad inquiry throughout and beyond the Cornell community. Cornell also aims, through public service, to enhance the lives and livelihoods of our students, the people of N.Y. and others around the world."

TEACHING AND LEARNING FORM THE MISSION OF BETHANY COLLEGE. CENTRAL TO THIS IS PROVIDING A LIBERAL ARTS EDUCATION FOR STUDENTS, INCLUDING THE PREPARATION OF PROFESSIONALS, IN AN ATMOSPHERE OF STUDY, WORK, AND SERVICE.

The American Indian Association of Illinois provides a model for Indian community development.It is governed by people rooted in their tribal cultures, living in off-reservation communities, working to improve the lives of all Indian people. It provides the opportunity for every Native person to pursue education in a way that respects tribal culture and individual interests and needs. AIAI’s participants help build the Indian communities of the future. The mission of the American Indian Association of Illinois is to develop and implement educational opportunities for American Indian people and others who may benefit from such programs to help them build strong Native families and communities, which respect and acknowledge all tribal histories and cultures.

The Foundation exists solely to assist, support and foster Virginia Commonwealth University in all proper ways that may from time to time be approved by the trustees of the Foundation with the guidance of the university.

The Yeshiva was founded by, and is under the direction of, Rabbi Moshe Herson. The growth of the Yeshiva college has had a significant cultural effect on the community, and has influenced many Jewish families to move into the area to be near the Yeshiva and the surrounding synagogues.
