The mission of the FoundationCCC is to benefit, support, and enhance the missions of the California Community Colleges by facilitating collaboration, accelerating innovation, and increasing systemwide resources. The FoundationCCC is the official nonprofit supporting the CCC Board of Governors, CCC Chancellor's Office, and the California Community Colleges system. Its work helps benefit all CCC students, colleges, college foundations, and the system by strengthening communities, accelerating paths to economic and social mobility, and reducing barriers to opportunity for all Californians.

Hendrix College, a private, undergraduate institution of the liberal arts founded in 1876 and related to the United Methodist Church, offers distinguished academic programs in a residential, coeducational setting.
