OneSky partners with governments and communities in Asia to provide responsive care and safe learning environments so that marginalized young children can thrive. We began our work in China in 1998 as Half the Sky. Our goal, from the start, was to bring love and responsive care to infants living in child welfare institutions across the country. With a team of early childhood development experts, we set about training caregivers to ensure the youngest and most vulnerable received the best possible start to life. In 2011, the Chinese government invited OneSky to train every child welfare worker in the country. This groundbreaking partnership has transformed the standard of care and directly reached over 200,000 children in China’s 31 provinces. Recognizing that the needs of young children are universal, today, we train professional child caregivers and parents across Asia with internationally recognized training methods and curricula, while partnering with governments to help them transform systems of care. Since 1998 across China, Vietnam and Mongolia and Hong Kong SAR, OneSky has trained 116,502 caregivers and impacted 394,390 children, with a goal to reach countless more in future years.

Bringing music education to over a million students, Music Will equips educators to teach, students to learn, and lives to be transformed through music education.

To support our vision for a powerful, inclusive environmental movement focused on climate solutions, conservation, and movement building, we give special consideration to charitable programs that reinforce and advance these imperatives.

The Ocean State Montesson School fosters independence, self-esteem, and a life-long love of learning by providing an academically excellent and nurturing Montessori environment for children in preschool through sixth grade.

New Directions believes that people who have disabilities deserve the same opportunities in life that others expect and enjoy. Our profoundly enriching travel programs expand the self-esteem of every traveler. Whole new worlds of understanding open for both participants and the general population. Through these unique programs, people with disabilities are increasingly understood, appreciated and accepted as important and contributing members of our world. Shanti Bhavan empowers children from India’s lowest socioeconomic class to break the cycle of generational poverty through education, leadership, and compassion.

No entrepreneur can succeed without a strong network of support. But because of the ways access and opportunity have traditionally been distributed, social entrepreneurs and diverse founders are less likely to know people from top colleges and companies than their counterparts. This means they have less robust networks to draw on for advice, customers, funding, and professional growth. We call this the Relationship Gap. Goodie Nation exists to eliminate the relationship gap that stands in the way of success for too many promising entrepreneurs, especially those who are people of color, women, or aren’t located in coastal financial centers. By making sure that every entrepreneur, no matter their background or location, can access the relationships they need to thrive, we are building a more sustainable and prosperous future for all.
