Teach For America exists to address the problem of the opportunity gap; our mission is to build the movement to eliminate educational inequity by enlisting our nation's most promising future leaders in the effort. In the immediate term, we serve as a critical source of talented and committed teachers, called corps members, who compensate for the additional challenges their students face to provide them with the educational opportunities they deserve. Our corps members' positive impact on students' academic achievement provides tangible evidence that it is possible for all students to succeed when they get the right support. At the same time, helping their students succeed intensifies corps members' sense of urgency and gives them a deep grounding in what it will take to ensure that all students in our nation have the opportunity to attain an excellent education. Over the long run, we produce an alumni force with the talent, conviction, insight, and experience to effect the fundamental changes necessary to realize our vision of educational opportunity for all. Our alumni work directly for change at every level of our education system, while also exerting pressure for positive change from outside the system:* continuing to serve as teachers, school principals, and district administrators* taking the pressure off schools by working to remediate the challenges of poverty by working in careers supporting economic development, public health, social services, and law* pioneering innovations in public service as social entrepreneurs* shaping our priorities and policies as advocates, policy advisers, elected officials, and influencers in other sectors.

Save the Bay™, and keep it saved, as defined by reaching a 70 on CBF's Health Index. The Chesapeake Bay Foundation's (CBF) mission, simply stated, is to Save the Bay and keep it saved. We define a Saved Bay as having a score of 70 (out of 100) on CBF's State of the Bay health index. Thanks largely to a dramatic reduction in the amount of pollution entering the system, at 70, the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers will be highly productive and in good health as measured by established water-quality standards. The result will be clear water, free of impacts from toxic contaminants, and healthy oxygen levels, able to support living resources in all parts of the Bay.

As a publicly supported charity, we partner with thousands of donors across the U.S. to invest in organizations that have an outsized impact on the health of the planet. To support our vision for a powerful, inclusive environmental movement focused on climate solutions, conservation, and movement building, we give special consideration to charitable programs that reinforce and advance these imperatives.

The Bronze Chapter is dedicated to transforming the outdoor experience for communities of color in Washington State and beyond. We strive to make outdoor recreation and environmental awareness accessible, inclusive, and engaging for multi-ethnic and BIPOC families, youth, and adults. We strive to lower barriers that have historically limited participation in outdoor activities, offering thoughtfully curated safety, marine- and land-based experiential learning programs. Our goal is to grow a more-skilled, confident, and safe melanated outdoor community and our motto is: Rewrite Your Outdoor Narrative.

The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit, grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches through a powerful activist network. Founded in 1984 by a handful of visionary surfers in Malibu, California, the Surfrider Foundation now maintains more than 250,000 supporters, activists and members worldwide..

From early childhood to career readiness, our work integrates mental health, education, and opportunity to create pathways that are both resilient and inclusive. We don’t just offer programs—we build access. Our commitment to equity drives us to break down language barriers, close educational gaps, and reduce health disparities. Every tool, resource, and initiative is designed to be truly reachable for all. Shanti Bhavan empowers children from India’s lowest socioeconomic class to break the cycle of generational poverty through education, leadership, and compassion.

Our purpose is to financially improve the lives of hundreds of children and their community in Kapsabet, Kenya. Founded in 2003, a library and kitchen have been built along with classrooms and a well. We have no paid staff and two fundraising parties are held each year in Colorado.
