he World Federation of the Deaf (WFD) is an international non-governmental organisation representing and promoting approximately 70 million deaf people's human rights worldwide. The WFD is a federation of deaf organisations from 134 nations; its mission is to promote the human rights of deaf people and full, quality and equal access to all spheres of life, including self-determination, sign language, education, employment and community life. WFD has a consultative status in the United Nations and is a founding member of International Disability Alliance (IDA). At its recent World Congress in Jeju, South Korea, WFD members (136) approved the WFD strategic direction 2023-2030 and Action Plan 2023-2027. Important themes are covered in these 2 documents which strive to ensure that we create access for all deaf people to all ways of life in "a world where deaf people everywhere can sign anywhere" (vision). Furthermore, our mission is to work towards the full realisation of linguistic rights and human rights in all areas of life, with full recognition and implementation of these rights across local, national and international levels. To realise our mission and vision, the following are part of our Action Plan 2023-2027: Building Capacity across the Globe: ensuring increased participation of women, youth and underrepresented communities; provide effective capacity building projects to countries who are not yet members to assist them with creating their own national deaf associations so that they can represent themselves in their countries; Putting Deaf people on the Agenda: the WFD will continue to strive to put deaf human rights at the forefront of all representation internationally, including at the UN; we will effectively promote International Week of Deaf people and be ready to response to deaf people's needs in times of crises, disasters and war. Realising nothing about us without us: the WFD continues to be the leading authority for deaf people and sign languages and has committed to developing resources to assist deaf people raise awareness in their countries. Achieving Sign Language Rights for all: National sign languages are fundamental to achieving deaf people's human rights. We will aim to assist our member states in promoting the legal recognition of signed language in the country and advocate for early childhood language acquisition and inclusive multilingual education policies. Investing in a strong and sustainable organisation: to carry out our mission and vision we need greater investment in our secretariat and regional secretariat, expand our donor base, increase visibility and fundraising activities so that our organisation can carry on its important global work.

As a Croatian BirdLife partner, we participate in the creation of policies for nature protection at the international level. Biom is one of the leading civil society organizations in Croatia that offers solutions in the field of nature protection and promotes delegated management of protected areas. Biom is a professional, open and innovative organization that contributes to the common good with a wide network of members, volunteers, and associates.

Every day, lives are changed by a single, selfless act - the gift of organ donation. Among those waiting for transplants are 2 groups of people: those who die waiting and those who receive the gift of life. Our work raises awareness of the urgent need for organ and tissue donors while helping recipients who have overcome the impossible to live life to the fullest. These individuals have faced life's greatest challenges; they are advocates for the cause but need resources, education and community. Transplant recipients have a unique opportunity to advocate for organ donation and raise awareness. Physical activity plays a crucial role in the recovery and long-term health of recipients. When recipients compete in world events, they demonstrate to the world what can be achieved through the gift of organ donation. Additionally, our programs provide recipients with community, tools, and resources to address the many challenges they face, leading to an increased quality of life. The WTGF promotes amateur sport amongst recipients, living donors and donor families; promoting the study of transplantation; educating the public and raising awareness of the world shortage of donor organs; sharing new knowledge from biological/clinical studies; promotion of mental and moral improvement for recipients, living donors and donor families; fostering international friendship and relations.

An estimated 800,000 children in the European Union are separated from an imprisoned parent on any given day. Yet few people are aware of the impact that a parent's incarceration can have on a child. Children separated from a parent in prison frequently experience multiple emotional and social difficulties associated with their parent's incarceration. They not only have to cope with the parent's absence and the disruption of the child-parent bond, but are also vulnerable to social exclusion, financial hardship, discrimination and shame. Children of Prisoners Europe (COPE) is a pan-European network which encourages innovative perspectives and practice to ensure that the rights of these children (as enshrined in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the European Convention on Human Rights) are fully respected and that action is taken to secure their well-being and healthy development. The network is a membership-based organisation made up of non-governmental organisations and individuals across Europe and beyond, linked by a staff team based at its French headquarters. Raising awareness among child-related agencies, prison services and policymakers to the specific needs of children of prisoners and promoting initiatives that take these needs into account, the organisation is seeking to: - Expand programmes that support the child-parent relationship and help minimise violence for children with an imprisoned parent; - Introduce the child's perspective throughout the criminal justice process, from arrest to resettlement; - Foster cross-sectoral collaboration among public and private agencies involved in supporting and making decisions about children of prisoners; - Obtain better information and greater visibility for prisoners' children and influence policy at the national, European and international level on their behalf; - Promote the exchange of initiatives, expertise and good practice for children with imprisoned parents; - Enhance the competence of professionals within the field. Working to foster the promotion and provision of policies, frameworks and meaningful action on behalf of children affected by parental incarceration to protect their development and well-being, our aim is to ease the burden of the imprisonment of a parent on the child.

Suncokret - Community Development Center is a non-governmental and non-profit organization founded in 2004 in Vrginmost. The organization operates in Sisak-Moslavina County with the aim of alleviating the negative psychological, social and cultural consequences of the war and social problems in the region. Suncokret's work is focused on improving the quality of life of all community members, with a special emphasis on children and youth, community reconstruction and support for the development of a sustainable, democratic civil society. Our activities are based on working with individuals, families, groups and communities, encouraging active participation and training. We support positive initiatives, encourage mutual cooperation and respect for differences. The organization is committed to building democratic values, civic initiative and participation, community development, volunteerism and altruism, equal sharing of responsibilities and equal opportunities for all, regardless of gender, religion or nationality. In recent years, Suncokret has expanded its activities aimed at children, youth and the elderly to the earthquake-affected municipality of Topusko and the city of Glina. Over the years, Suncokret has continuously represented a stable pillar of social support for children and youth in the community, despite fluctuations in relations with local institutions. Today, institutions rely on Suncokret's provision of support to children and youth, as well as creating employment opportunities and support for the elderly in the community. Through its regular activities, with the support of younger team members from the community who grew up in Suncokret, the center's key target groups have services they can rely on: children (support in learning), the elderly (visits to the nursing home in Glina, repairs and assistance to elderly households in the villages) and the working-age population (employment through public works). During twenty years of operation, Suncokret has provided support and empowerment to several generations of children and youth from Vrginmost (over 1000 of them), as well as adults and elderly in difficult socio-economic situations. In its work, Suncokret relies to a large extent on the support of international volunteers who represent the significant human resources available to the center. To the extent possible, the Sunflower team has always tried to positively influence the development of the community through its activities and work - international volunteers have enabled generations of children and young people to get to know other cultures and accept multiculturalism, improve their language, communication and other skills; while the local team provides and coordinates community service activities. At Suncokret, volunteering means sharing and learning: volunteers learn about organic gardening, permaculture and sustainability, and in turn empower Suncokret by sharing their skills with children and youth and supporting the local community through physical work. Volunteer support made it possible to arrange access to a source of drinking water, clean up the environment, help elderly and infirm people with landscaping, work in the garden and vegetable garden, and preparation for winter. Sunsokret annually hosts over 150 volunteers and records more than 10,000 volunteer hours in the community. Mission Suncokret creates inclusive, connected, sustainable and resilient communities by bringing together different generations, empowering them, building relationships of trust and solidarity between them and engaging in various intercultural interactions and activities tailored to the needs of the community. Suncokret mobilizes and organizes international volunteers who contribute to social inclusion, interculturalism and intergenerational cooperation with their engagement. Values Integrity - Suncokret works transparently, demonstrating responsibility and being accountable to the community and partners, thereby building trust and long-term support. Diversity - Suncokret believes in diversity and in accepting and respecting diversity not only as a basis for normal individual development, but as a prerequisite for building strong and resilient communities. Human Rights - The basic rights of every person in the local community in which Suncokret operates, which are in any way questioned, provoke a reaction from Suncokret. Inclusivity - Suncokret is committed to creating communities in which all community members, regardless of their age, gender, socioeconomic status, nationality, religion or any other differences, are equally included and have equal opportunities to participate in activities and make decisions. Inclusivity is the foundation for building a just and solidarily connected society. Civic Responsibility - Suncokret encourages active civic participation, empowering individuals to take responsibility for the life and well-being of their communities. Lifelong Learning - Suncokret bases its work on non-formal education and encourages lifelong learning for all age groups. Suncokret - Centre for Community Development is a Croatian non-governmental, non-profit organization founded as a response to the psychosocial needs of a rural, isolated, economically depressed postwar and post earthquake community facing high unemployment and depopulation. Suncokret undertakes community development work and aims to address negative psychological, social and cultural consequences of the social upheavals and post disaster response in the region, to improve the quality of life for all, but especially for deprived socially excluded members of the society, to promote community rebuilding, and support development of a sustainable democratic civil society. Reintegration and the improvement of life is essential in this area that suffered war and displacement and now again after the earthquakes needed help. Some lost their homes in the war and again in the earthquakes in 2020. Our activities assist in the reintegration of the community and ultimately contribute community building and development of inter-ethnic/national understanding, tolerance and reconciliation. Through our current activities the Community Center is a catalyst for civic and social change. Our organization promotes community development in a rural community. We aim to develop dialogue and interpersonal tolerance in a multiethnic environment through educational and creative activities and provide informal education of the local population in the post war area. We encourage and empower civil society through education, volunteerism and activism and improve the quality of life by providing education, supporting the civil society and preserving the environment. We organise international volunteer camps, local community actions and service projects and by provide education, access to information and a variety of activities otherwise not readily available in this postwar area. The Maecenata Foundation is an independent Think Tank founded in 2010 and based in Munich. It addresses issues of civil society, civic engagement, philanthropy, and foundations. Since 2011 it comprises all of Maecenata's activities. The foundation directs the activities of its programmes to represent carefully considered positions. It is heavily engaged in the transnational strengthening and development of an open society in Europe and beyond through civil society.

Clown Me In, known as Awrad Association, was created for the purpose of spreading laughter, providing relief to disadvantaged communities, addressing trauma, discrimination and environmental problems and abuses through clowning, laughter and social therapy workshops. We also aim to take the arts outside of the capital, giving disadvantaged and/or rural communities access to arts and culture. Clown Me In has worked around the world, in Mexican, Lebanese, Palestinian, Indian, Brazilian, Moroccan, Jordanian, Syrian, Greek and British communities.

OUR MISSION IS: education, entrepreneurship and international cooperation Summary During 2012 I quitted my job in a Bank, which I was doing almost twenty-six years because the question of financial certainty was imposed as a priority I decided to change something because I knew that the job I was doing was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life During 2012 experts in the Liberal academy in Ljubljana , Slovenia encouraged me and helped me in the development of ideas I spent some time on the Institute of Employment during 2012, where I was confronted with many problems but instead, chose to look for opportunities Unemployment gave me the possibility to realize new ideas. Through my workshops I teach my participants how to think like entrepreneurs and also how to avoid bureaucracy First I opened GOTA, a small business for marketing and consulting and after that I opened Association for education, entrepreneurship and international cooperation LIBERA It took almost 7o days to open a business, which at first demotivated me, but I told myself not to give up I realized that the future entrepreneurs do not have adequate information, regardless of the number of agencies and all kinds of services that put in our offer to help My idea was to invent a workshop for unemployed people to help them in starting business. I called my workshop WE CREATE OUR OWN BUSINESS. In a period of five days I teach them about developing ideas, strategy, company, expenses, business plans and supporting activities from employment office. And also in the workshop I gathered all the knowledge from my first entrepreneurial steps. I feel that I'm fullfilling my mission as a person, and as an entrepreneur. Especially, when I see my students on the first day of the workshop totally demotivated, opposite to the last days of the workshop where they become interested in making their first steps in business Until now there had been held 4 workshops in August 2013 in CISOK centre (of Croatian Employment Office), address Knez Viseslav 7, Zagreb, which were attended by 55 women, age 20- 55 Until now there had been held almost 133 workshops during 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 in a Centre for Culture Tresnjevka, which were attended by cca 950 men and women, age 20-55 By current informations cca 30% of the attenders started their own business. Starting a job in Croatia is not easy, and for that reason a large number of young people left their country.This is one of the reasons that we focus our activities on children and on the development of projects that will promote entrepreneurship at this time, as well as the development of projects that will address the issue of mental health in children due to their dependence on mobile phones and other techniques.
