We are a growing school family with a shared drive and determination to ensure all of our children reach their full potential across all aspects of our broad, balanced and bespoke Coxhoe curriculum. Staff and governors believe that it is a privilege to guide your children through their Primary School journey and are passionate about their important role. Our school community is based upon positive relationships that are underpinned by mutual respect. Smiles and laughter are a key part of each and every day: happy children make fantastic learners. We have high expectations in all aspects of school life; visitors often comment on the high standards of behaviour, the warm welcome they receive and the enjoyment in school life. The community supporting Coxhoe Primary School is one of its many strengths and we value it hugely. The support we have from parents is second to none and we encourage honest and open dialogue; if you have queries or concerns about any aspects of school life, please make sure that you come and talk to us. Likewise - when you are particularly happy with something at school - it's also lovely to hear about that too! Our children are at the heart of everything we do and every decision made. As a parent of two teenage daughters, I am well aware of the challenges that today's society places on our children. In this climate, it is even more important to help our children become resilient and prepared for those challenges - through their experiences here in our school family. We will therefore endeavour to ensure that your children leave Coxhoe Primary School having had fun, done their best and feeling proud of their achievements; this will allow them to be ready to face the next challenges, not only in their education, but also in their life. Evolving Mindset CIC's mission is to actively engage, educate, and empower individuals, groups, and organisations across Merseyside. Our focus is on erasing the stigma surrounding mental ill health by providing educational support and fostering a culture of understanding, strength, and acceptance. We believe that mental health challenges should not be a source of shame, and our work is aimed at building a future where individuals feel supported and empowered to seek help when needed to help people function better and overcome barriers to assist them to thrive in their life. Our mission is rooted in the understanding that our mental health is equally as important as our physical health. We deliver Ofqual-regulated qualifications and bespoke mental health education and training to organisations, schools, and the Third Sector. As a social enterprise, we reinvest all our profits into providing free community mental health and employment workshops for the people of Knowsley and beyond, focusing on those individuals who need it most. Our Three Pillars: Engage, Educate, Empower: Engage: We actively engage with our local community through outreach programs and strategic partnerships. We work closely with schools, colleges, healthcare providers, local authorities, and grassroots organisations to ensure that mental health and employment support is accessible to everyone. Our partnerships allow us to reach vulnerable individuals, offering them the help they need in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment. Educate: Education is at the heart of our mission. Through our innovative psycho-educational support programs, we deliver practical and accredited qualifications that enhance mental health awareness. We offer training in areas such as mental health first aid, safeguarding, stress and anxiety management, and resilience building. Our programs are designed to equip individuals with the tools to manage their mental well-being and help others. We believe that education is the key to breaking down the barriers associated with mental ill health. Empower: We empower individuals and organisations by giving them the knowledge and skills to take control of their mental health. Our goal is to create an environment where mental health concerns are openly discussed and help-seeking behaviours are normalised. By providing resources and training, we enable people to overcome barriers to help them thrive mentally and emotionally in their personal and professional lives. Collaborative Approach: Evolving Mindset CIC understands that mental health challenges are complex and multi-faceted. That is why we adopt a collaborative approach, working with strategic partners across various sectors. Whether it's through our partnerships with local colleges to provide functional skills in English and Maths alongside mental health qualifications or our involvement in the New Community Mental Health Framework with the NHS, our mission is strengthened by the power of collaboration. Our work with the Knowsley Mental Health Resilience Forum and local Chambers of Commerce demonstrates our commitment to embedding mental health and employment support within the community. These partnerships ensure that we can deliver targeted, effective services that meet the specific needs of individuals and groups in Knowsley. By working together with our partners, we aim to create a network of support that strengthens the mental health infrastructure of the region. Accessibility and Inclusivity: A core element of our mission is to make mental health and employment support accessible and inclusive for all. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to receive help, regardless of their background or circumstances. That's why we focus on delivering free mental health workshops for underrepresented and disadvantaged groups, including young people, adults, and marginalised communities. Our Knowsley Young Minds program, for example, provides free mental health support to young people aged 14-24, helping them build resilience and improve their prospects for the future. Similarly, our mental health workshops for adults focus on reducing isolation, improving well-being, and equipping participants with the tools to manage their mental health effectively. Stigma Reduction: At the core of our mission is the desire to reduce the stigma surrounding mental ill health. We believe that by educating individuals and communities about mental health, we can challenge misconceptions and foster a more compassionate society. We want to create an environment where people feel comfortable discussing their mental health openly, without fear of judgment. Through our training programs, workshops, and community initiatives, we are working to dismantle the stigma that often prevents individuals from seeking help. Our approach is one of empowerment- by normalising conversations about mental health, we give individuals the confidence to take action when needed. Our goal is to create a future where mental health care is viewed as a natural part of our overall well-being, and where seeking help is seen as a strength rather than a weakness. Long-term Vision: Our long-term vision is to build a community where mental well-being thrives and where everyone has the support they need to live fulfilling healthy lives. Through our work, we aim to contribute to a shift in how mental health is perceived and managed across Knowsley. By fostering a culture of empathy, education, and empowerment, we are paving the way for a future where mental health support is easily accessible, and where individuals can achieve their full potential at the earliest opportunity without the burden of stigma.
The charities mission is to improve the health and general well-being of our community, through health initiatives, formal and informal educational sessions, advocacy, advice and guidance sessions, peer to peer support, recreational activities etc, we aim to improve the quality of life and reduce social and economic constraints in our society. After covid and major spends on the old church building we operate from our finances were stretched to the limit and we considered closure. Due to the demand for activities and services we decided to continue as best we could. We are in the process of redecorating rooms to provide therapies, a sensory room, a dementia group and occupational therapy to address requests from numerous community residents and health groups. As our website is about the history of the charity we need an urgent update, a volunteer from John Moores University has offered to do this for us. We do not have a current newsletter but we do have an infographic about our achievement over a five year period as example of the good work carried out and the impact. We have won numerous prestigious awards to include "The Points of Light" awards from the then Prime Minister Theresa May. The ITV Good Morning Britain Team awarded the manager/founder a 'Special Recognition Award' which appeared on screen Christmas 2020. Our charity has worked with the Princes Trust and the Groundwork Trust, both excellent for the progress of young people. There is a video on YOU TUBE of our past projects, we will be continuing a lot of similar projects in the future; I am hoping to attach some files later if possible, files such as the Annual Report and the Infographic. Since deciding to remain open we have been fortunate to work in partnership with a number of groups such as MerseyCare NHS, Merseyside Youth Association, Knowsley Disability Concern, Social Prescribing via GP's, Police, Veterans, Schools and more. The charity is volunteer led. Our request is for funding to gain a project manager who will over-see all projects and will supervise a number of project facilitators.

The mission is to provide services; support people; facilitate resources and networks in order that people can live happy, healthy and prosperous lives. This will be done by providing affordable, community-focused creative work environments; nurture people's curiosity to learn skills; facilitate access to opportunities and resources; bring people together by building networks and hosting events; as well as transform the environments around us and ultimately people's lives. To stay true to this mission we will act with a set of values in mind; to be curious, constructive and transformative. Curious We will be endlessly curious, always thinking, 'How could we do this differently?' Encouraging and inspiring independent thinking and challenges to the norms of 'This is how it's always been done.' Removing barriers by cherishing and treasuring difference. And making our creations in the new thinking spaces we then find. This helps us to break down barriers and disrupt the norm. Constructive We are ambitious about making things memorable. In what we make, repurpose, put on and deliver we are conscious of developing the effectiveness and well-being of our community. By teaching and sharing skills, building things and ensuring the opportunities for the greater good of generations to come. Transformative We work consistently to be part of positively transforming the places where we are and the lives of people within that place. Through the tangible impact of being embedded, we see Make as a responsible and long-term encourager of positive changes, with self-sufficiency.
