The David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation (DSWF) is an adaptable and flexible, non-bureaucratic organisation responding promptly to conservation threats by supporting trusted, reputable individuals and organisations operating in the field. Lean on administration but generous on funding, the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation supports a range of innovative, vital and far-reaching projects throughout Africa and Asia, achieving real results for wildlife survival by: - sending undercover agents into the field to investigate illegal wildlife crime, training and supplying anti-poaching patrols - establishing nature reserves and other protected areas - working with governments to establish conservation laws and regulations - educating wildlife consumers about the plight of the animals they 'use' - teaching young people about endangered wildlife through art and school projects

Mission: Empowering donors to support grassroots NGOs in China At present, most grassroots NGOs lack an effective method for professional fund-raising and most Chinese official foundations provide very limited grant opportunities. The resulting funding gap forces them to focus a disproportionate amount of time on maintaining the operation of their organizations. As a result, they usually have neither the energy nor money to conduct large-scale fund-raising activities or focus on improving the impact of their programs. Shanghai United Foundation (SUF) focuses on fund-raising for grassroots NGOs in an effort to relieve much of the financial burden that limits the growth and impact of promising organizations.

The One Foundation was first founded by Jet Li in in April 2007, and was registered on December 3, 2010, as an independent public fundraising foundation in China. With the 2010 registration in Shenzhen, One Foundation became authorized to act as a fully independent charity. The founding organizations were the Shanghai Jet Li One Foundation, Lao Niu Foundation, Tencent Foundation, Vantone Foundation and Vanke Foundation. Each founding organization donated 10 million RMB for a total of 50 million RMB start-up. As of April 2013, the board of directors consisted of 11 members, in alphabetical order: Feng Lun, Jet Li (Chinese: ), Liu Chuanzhi (Chinese: ), Pony Ma (Chinese: ), Ma Weihua (Chinese: ), Jack Ma (Chinese: ), Niu Gensheng (Chinese: ), Wang Shi (Chinese: ), Yang Peng (Chinese: ), Zhou Qiren (Chinese: ) and Amy Zhou (Chinese: ). One Foundation strives to provide a professional and transparent public service platform according to the vision of "It Starts with every One" . Our Mission is to promote philanthropic culture, to provide humanitarian aid in natural disasters, and to build philanthropic platform by which everyone can join us in the philanthropic causes in every possible way.
