We promote sustainable human development as a fundamental intangible resource of our society, linking people, communities and institutions to the sustainable intervention of vulnerable contexts. Our Ludotecas project is a model of community social intervention whose challenge is to return the right to play and use of public spaces in a safe and adequate way to children who live in vulnerable contexts. Through a community program we promote the use of public space generating transformations that strengthen the social fabric of the community, improve the child's relationship with their socio-territorial environment and stimulate children's cognitive development. Overall, Fundacion Ensena Chile is dedicated to transforming education in Chile by investing in talented teachers, promoting educational equity, and driving systemic change to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality education. Ensena Chile aims to fight for equal learning opportunities for all students, regardless of their socio-economic background. For the past 15 years, we have been training and supporting professionals and practicing teachers, impacting the comprehensive development of +240,000 students throughout the country. Our flagship program selects and trains exceptional university graduates and professionals from various fields to become teachers in low-income schools. These individuals undergo an intensive training program to develop their teaching skills and receive ongoing support and mentoring throughout their two-year commitment in the program. The goal is to create a pipeline of talented educators who can make a difference in underserved communities and contribute to educational improvement nationwide. Ensena Chile also works to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing among educators by creating networks and platforms for teachers to exchange ideas, strategies, and best practices. We believe in the power of collective learning and seek to build a community of teachers who can learn from one another and continuously improve their teaching methods. Since 2017, our initiative (Learning Schools) emerged to share good practices and learnings, so that school administrators and management teams can enhance collective leadership for the creation of communities with a learning culture. We are convinced that students will learn more and better if they have teachers, management teams, and families who also learn every day. Lastly, during the pandemic, we determined to support communities that lacked internet access. This gave rise to , a project that aims to use technology as a tool to share these learnings with more communities and be a source of innovation for them, in pursuit of our students' learning and development.

Since it began 40 years ago, Youth for Christ has worked actively to come along side marginalized population in Uruguay through formal programs. Our action is oriented primarily toward children, adolescents, young people and their families on three levels of intervention: - Personal (seeking holistic development) - Within the family and community (work to strengthen families, develop local networks, and encourage participation) - Political and structural (participate in constructing Social Policies and effective methods of intervention) In 1989, we began to work formally with the State and formed the Civil Society Organization Youth for Christ, Uruguay. Since then we have operated collectively with State organisms, International Organisms, and a wide variety of NGOs (non-government organizations) that work in the country. In Youth for Christ we run politically as a civil society organization. The General Assembly of partners is the sovereign body, which appoints a Board of Directors. This Board operates on an honorary basis and has a predetermined term of service. Youth for Christ works with a clear north, challenging but possible with Jesus Christ, which we express with simplicity in our mission: - Promote a culture in tune with the gospel and its values of justice, peace, solidarity, tolerance, love, and respect for the diversity. - For part of the Youth for Christ International family, adhering to the shared vision and mission of the organization.
