The Greenville Area Parkinson Society (GAPS) began as a social network in the early 1990’s and became an official non-profit organization in 2012. The main goal of co-founders Patrick Sullivan and W. Stanton Smith is to offer support, education, and advocacy to the people of Greenville who are walking with this disease progression. GAPS is not about medication or research but truly focuses on offering support to our members as they learn to cope with the challenges and obstacles of living with Parkinson’s Disease today.

DARDA is an acronym for the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. The association was organized on June 28, 1981 by a group of concerned Dominicans living in and around the New York area. After the destruction wrought by Hurricane David various individuals and groups were involved in raising funds to assist in the rebuilding of Dominica. It was from this effort, and at the request of Bam and Wilfred Shillingford, that the idea of a new organization originated. This group, originally known as "Friends of Dominica," then went about the business of attaining official status. On September 25, 1981 it was duly established and registered as a not-for-profit corporation, officially known as the Dominica-American Relief and Development Association, Inc. (DARDA).

RCSAR members are trained in many skills: Search Tactics, Wilderness Survival, Cliff Rescue, First Aid, Man Tracking, Map and Compass, etc. Their dogs are highly trained in trailing/tracking, air scent, and human remains detection.

FOR CHARITABLE PURPOSE INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING: ANSWERING EMERGENCY CALLS, PROVIDING AMBULANCE SERVICE TO HOSPITALS OR SUCH OTHER DESINGATED PLACES AS NECESSITY MAY REQUIRE, SAVING LIVES, AND REDERING AID TO THE SICK, INJURED OR DISABLED, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE RESIDENTS OF EAST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, MERCER COUNTY NEW JERSEY AND ALL OTHER PERSONS WHO SHALL REQUIRE NAME, OTHE WISE PROMOTING THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF SAID PERSONS AND SOLICITING AND RECEIVING GIFTS GRANTS CONTRIBUTIONS BEQUESTS OR DEVISES OF MONEY OR OTHER PROPERTY TO SUSTAIN THE CORPORATION IN ITS PURSUIT OF SAID PROGRAM.

Founded in 2003, Hope Children's Fund, LTD. is a New York State Licensed 501(c)(3) that provides for the physical and emotional needs of some of the most vulnerable AIDS affected children who were living on the streets of Meru, Kenya. Our goal is to furnish the food, clothing, shelter, and medical care that will enable these children to be enrolled in local schools. At the Jerusha Mwiraria Hope Children's Home we expect to provide these children with the tools that will help them to become productive adults.
