Wine To Water (W|W) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that is committed to serving in community to provide clean water to those in need. W|W was founded by Doc Hendley who started working in Darfur in 2004, W|W later became an official non-profit organization in 2007 and has since worked in 48 countries and reached more than 1.2 milion people with clean drinking water.It's people and partnerships with donors, international ground partners and volunteers that make what we do at W|W successful. We work with local people and utilize local materials to be sustainable and effective in everything we do. Background: After a tragic car accident in 2011 that resulted in having an 18 year old young teenager to be a wheelchair user; his mother along with a group of 13 friends decided to make a difference when it comes to physical disability in Egypt and the Middle East after the challenges they faced and still are. Vision: To be the leading example developmental foundation in Egypt, Middle East and Africa that embrace wheelchair/physical disabilities with emphasis on endless possibilities. Mission: Alhassan Foundation is determined to providing "tailored solutions", facilities, re-habilitation and re-occupation for humans on wheelchairs, and their families to overcome their challenges and make best use of their different abilities. 1. Nurturing "YES I CAN" attitude among wheelchair users and their families 2. Changing society's mindset regarding viewing a wheelchair user as "disabled" to be "differently abled" 3. Involving the right mix of corporations, governmental entities, global organisations and individuals to achieve our vision. 4. Provide a franchised rehabilitation centres similar to those in Germany & UK. 5. Represent a franchised wheelchair factory. 6. Quality rehabilitation and reoccupation for wheelchair users changes individuals to be of value added to society rather than a burden. 7. Translate/support writing books that represent physical challenges to be reference for others in Egypt & Middle East. 14. Humans with challenges deserve not only to live, but to live happily. Huntington Fire Company is a 100% volunteer fire company serving the Huntington neighborhood of Shelton, CT. It focuses on preserving life, property, and the environment by providing fire suppression and rescue services, promoting prevention and public education, and maintaining readiness through ongoing training and community service.

American Friends of Yad Leah collects new and gently‑used clothing in the U.S., sorts and packs donations at volunteer centers, and ships those items to Israel where they are distributed through dignified, shop‑style centers so families in need can obtain apparel affordably and with respect.

The company protects life and property in the Speigletown area by responding to fires and other emergencies, providing Basic Life Support first-response EMS, running public-education programs, and training its volunteer Fire & EMS personnel and maintaining modern firefighting equipment.

The foundation works to protect coastal waters and waterways and to support people and communities whose lives depend on them. It funds oyster- and reef-related environmental programs, runs local community and education initiatives, and raises money through events, donations, and product sales to support storm relief, scholarships, and coastal restoration.

The Asia Pacific Alliance for Disaster Management (A-PAD) is a trans-national disaster aid alliance that works to facilitate cooperation and understanding between governments, private companies and NGOs in the Asia Pacific region. We will facilitate collaboration among the member countries for the purpose of delivering effective and efficient disaster assistance through disaster preparedness, risk reduction, relief and recovery. A pre-agreement among governments, private companies, and NGOs would make it possible for us to act together and deliver even more effective and efficient disaster assistance to disaster victims. Each country, however, sends their team separately, and their rescue efforts are often conducted independently of each other. It is true that each country is trying to do its best in rescuing disaster victims. Yet, if we could reach a pre-agreement, not merely among nations but also between different sectors, to act together to fight any future disaster... We would be able to deliver even more efficient and effective disaster aid to even more people, in even less time.

The Canadian Paraplegic Association (Saskatchewan) is working every day to help make communities more inclusive for individuals with physical disabilities. The CPA relies on the support and generosity from organizations and numerous volunteers who share an interest in supporting those with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities which limit mobility. The CPA has a variety of programs and services, including peer support, education and employment, counseling, community advocacy and information services for individuals, their family and support groups.
