Support is provided through a wide variety of services which include employment, work experience, school to work, leisure, recreation, supported indepedent living, 24 hour residential support, out of home respite for both children and adults and special services at home. We are Literacy North Halton, a non-profit organization based in Georgetown, Acton & Milton. We work to give adults (19-65) the chance to improve their skills in Reading, Spelling, Writing, Basic Math, Basic Computer Skills.
North Shore Crisis Services Society (NSCSS) is a registered not for profit charity that is dedicated to promoting a secure and abuse-free environment for women and children. We are committed to non-discrimination and our program locations are accessible. NSCSS was incorporated in 1979 and has been providing free services to women and children fleeing abuse since that time.
