Established in 2000, the Texas Medical Center Orchestra (TMCO) is one of the very few orchestras with its origin in the health professions. Most of the members are health professionals who have a dedication to music that goes beyond their daily occupations. The mission of the orchestra is to provide health care professionals with a high-quality outlet for creative expression through the world of symphonic music; perform regularly at affordable concerts that are open to the public and in an accessible venue; attract a diverse audience by commitments to select popular programming reflecting Houston’s diversity; and bring public attention to, and provide programmatic support for, medically related and/or educational charities. The Texas Medical Center Orchestra is just the right medicine.

The Foundation's mission is, in collaboration with our partners the City of San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly State University, to promote and provide an accessible and extraordinary center for the performing arts that elevates the arts in our community.

The mission of the Los Altos Stage Company is to present theater that celebrates the rich diversity of American art and culture, to foster an enduring commitment to the performing arts and artists, and to serve as a welcoming and creative gathering space for our community.

The B Sharp Youth Music Program, based in the heart of Como, is a free music education program based in Fort Worth. It is the only El Sistema-inspired music program in North Texas. El Sistema-inspired programs are unique to the community and culture of its participants and are a vehicle for social change and betterment through the teaching of music.

What Is Noise is an award-winning ensemble that has performed throughout the United States. The ensemble made its Carnegie Hall debut in May of 2014 as part of their “American Stories” concert tour that included performances in Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, and New York. What Is Noise is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is passionate about building community through music by performing culturally relevant concerts that connect audiences with musicians and composers of their time. The sextet remains a strong advocate for new music and educational outreach.

The World Stage Theatre Company gives actors and audiences access to the world by telling multicultural, inspirational, and transformational stories to connect our hearts and minds with people, places, and ideas.

Playful People Productions is a unique theater company, devoted to Positive, Inclusive Family Theater. We create community -- a welcoming, loving, kind environment where performers of all ages are free to express themselves and who they are. At Playful People Productions, families perform together.

They focus on helping native youth discover self-identity and preserve their culture through community building, education, oral history, and traditional musical arts. Their members and volunteers promote living abstinent from alcohol and drugs. This provides the momentum that helps us affect change. Using data-driven models, beginning the process of healing, that make a long-lasting difference.
