The American Schools of Oriental Research in Canada (CASOR) includes all individual members of the American Schools of Oriental Research (ASOR) who live in Canada. It was incorporated federally on October 3, 1990 as a non-share capital corporation and registered as a charity by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (Income Tax registration number BN 891631269RR0001).

Heritage Vancouver Society is an independent, non-profit society, encouraging the community to preserve, restore, and appreciate Vancouver’s heritage structures, 'Creating a Future for Heritage.'

ARMS staff, board of directors, members and volunteers aim: To protect and preserve the environment and habitat of the Alouette River Watershed. To provide environmental education to the community. To develop and partner on various habitat restoration and maintenance projects within the Alouette Watershed. To assist and advise federal, provincial and municipal agencies in the care and development of the Alouette River Watershed.

We run two major annual events: (a) The London District Science & Technology Fair, in early April, and (b) the London District Science Olympics on the Thursday following the Victoria Day weekend. Our passion is to encourage students to follow their interest in science by doing hands-on, minds on activities.

St Aidan's Christian School works with at-risk Gds 5 to 9 students in Winnipeg's North End and Inner City, emphasizing literacy and numeracy. In a Christian setting, we teach the Manitoba curriculum, so that kids can go on to more schooling or job training, tranforming their lives, and the lives of their families and communities. With our partners, Inner City Youth Alive, St Aidan's Anglcian Church and others, we help students realize their potential. We operate two campuses - at Aberdeen and Salter in the North End, and at Calary Temple, in Winnipeg's Core. We welcome the poor, the refugee, the marginalized, and the stranger in the name of Jesus.

Since 1963 the Norwood Child & Family Resource Centre has been supporting children and families in the Norwood and surrounding communities. The programs and services offered from the Centre have always had a strong focus on supporting children and families in an effort to lessen the negative impacts of poverty: isolation, child abuse, substance abuse, low academic success, and criminal activity. The Centre also acts as a hub for the children and families in the community. Relationships built on trust evolve here and enable us to help the families in the community access resources and services that may otherwise be unknown to them. We are a meeting place, bringing individuals from the community together and creating strong groups capable of affecting change in their community.

The Oakville Community Foundation is a conduit between the passions of philanthropic families and the needs of the community. As a registered charity, the Foundation is one of the largest members of a national network of over 190 Canadian community foundations. We support individuals, families and corporations who come from all walks of life, economic backgrounds and charitable interests but they have one thing in common - a desire to make a difference today and leave a legacy tomorrow for Oakville.

The Intensive Care Unit is the area of a hospital where patients with severe, life-threatening problems receive care. It is where the most desperate medical cases are found. Intensive Care medicine is also an area in which clinical research is most valuable; where knowledge can have the biggest impact on who survives, and who does not.

Our Mission is 1. To undertake and support research and long term monitoring of wildlife populations of the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Haida Gwaii, especially the Laskeek Bay Area. 2. To provide opportunities for non-scientists, especially students and local residents of Haida Gwaii, to participate as volunteers in our field programs, and to offer training to impart necessary field research skills. 3. To promote better understanding of the marine and terrestrial ecosystems of Haida Gwaii, especially the Laskeek Bay area, by providing information to youth, local residents, and to the public in general in the form of publications, meetings and exhibits. 4. To promote the conservation of native species and to develop public awareness of the changes caused by introduced species to Haida Gwaii. 5. To support and assist other programs aimed at providing better knowledge, management, and conservation of ecosystems on Haida Gwaii.

Founded in 1913, Crescent is an independent school for boys from grades 3 - 12, located on a park-like 30 acre campus in midtown Toronto. Our library strives to be a Popular Materials library offering current, high demand materials, programs, and technology in a variety of formats for people of all ages; to be a Door to Learning for preschoolers by encouraging young children to develop an interest in reading and learning.

Support Casa Guatemala Children works to empower Casa Guatemala in the mutual vision to equip the children in their care with the skills and education needed to become upstanding, empowered citizens in their community and to become fully self-sustained through the businesses that they run which provide financial support and meaningful job training for the older children. Throughout the 20 year partnership, SCGC has played an integral role in promoting the health and well-being of underprivileged children in Guatemala by providing financial assistance to Casa Guatemala. SCGC work with Casa Guatemala to: Provide nutritional and medical assistance to children; Provide informal adult vocational training in agriculture, carpentry and other skill areas for the adults of the community in which these children live, and; Relieve the distress of orphaned and abandoned children through provision of accommodation, food, medical supplies, education and training, and other similar activities.
