Our mission is to broaden and enhance the educational opportunities for children ages 10 and under and to enhance their understanding of the world. The Museum seeks to create an environment that inspires lifelong learning, and supports parents, caregivers and educator's as facilitators of children's explorations. To achieve its mission, the museum builds collaborations and pursues strategies that welcome all families to join in the Stepping Stones learning community. As a multi-dimensional resource in the region, the museum offers exhibits, programs and services that take an interactive approach to promote early learning.

Friends Of The White City (FOTWC) is a 501 (c)(3) not for profit (NFP) corporation dedicated to providing educational programs on the historic significance of the 1893 World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago.  In furtherance of that mission we hope to raise funds for the research, preservation and restoration of what remains of the expo as well as raising awareness of the beauty that remains in the Chicago Parks that hosted and continue to support the expo's legacy.

Our mission is to promote farmed animal rescue, education and advocacy. Our vision is to help bring an end to the needless and gratuitous suffering of animals where it matters most - 99.7% of these are farmed animals. Our vision is a simple one: a world where respect for animals means they are no longer unnecessarily and systematically exploited and killed. Farmed animals are the 99% who suffer at human hands. Ending their suffering is a big challenge and yet completely and easily within our control. In addition, the implications for addressing climate change (and all other serious environmental issues), world hunger and human health are immense as well.”

Through artists’ residencies and public programs, we offer opportunities for reflection, dialogue and exchange that build understanding and appreciation for the role of art in society.

The New-York Historical Society collects, preserves, and interprets, for the broadest possible public, material relevant to the history of the United States in general and of New York State and City in particular.

Voice of Witness is a non-profit organization that uses oral history to illuminate contemporary human rights crises in the U.S. and around the world. Founded by author Dave Eggers and physician/human rights scholar Lola Vollen, Voice of Witness publishes a book series that depicts human rights injustices through the stories of the men and women who experience them. The Voice of Witness Education Program brings these stories, and the issues they reflect, into high schools and impacted communities through oral history-based curricula and holistic educator support.

The National Domestic Workers Alliance (NDWA) is the nation’s leading voice for dignity and fairness for the millions of domestic workers in the United States, most of whom are women. Founded in 2007, NDWA works for the respect, recognition, and inclusion in labor protections for domestic workers. The national alliance is powered by 42 affiliate organizations—plus our first local chapter in Atlanta—of over 10,000 nannies, housekeepers, and caregivers for the elderly in 26 cities and 18 states.

Our mission is to create media and cultural conditions that strengthen movements for racial justice, economic equity, and human rights.

Future of Music Coalition is a national nonprofit organization that works to ensure a diverse musical culture where artists flourish, are compensated fairly for their work, and where fans can find the music they want.

Through the highest quality media production, Youth Radio equips the next generation with skills and support that lead to jobs and education. Partnering 14-24 year-olds with industry leaders, Youth Radio produces digital media and Peabody-award winning journalism that is distributed nationally. Through hands-on work experience, support services, and a creative outlet, Youth Radio prepares young people for employment and ultimately transforms lives.
