LOWER TRENT CONSERVATION

Lower Trent Conservation (LTC) works to safeguard and restore our rivers, lakes and streams, protect and restore natural habitats, protect lives and property from natural hazards, and provide opportunities for the public to learn from, enjoy and respect the natural environment. As well, LTC holds almost 3,700 acres of natural space in public trust. They are special places in the watershed where the natural world comes first. LTC provides flood protection, watershed restoration and environmental advisory services. We perform preventative work in the knowledge that it is the most practical and cost-effective way to manage our watershed resources.
