Palm Springs Animal Shelter is the only public shelter in the Coachella Valley operating under the no-kill philosophy. We are managed and operated by Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter a 501(c)(3) organization (TAX ID 33-0731853) dedicated to responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment on animals. We depend on our community to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, and most of all, to believe that together, we can save lives.

For many decades, the television show Pets on Parade, the Pet Telethon, and other less visible programs have highlighted the joy a pet offers. The Animal Rescue League of Berks County is a charitable 501(c)3 organization caring for over 5,000 animals each year to help them find second chances in a new home or to help reunite them with their grateful owners. For more than 70 years, we’ve worked tirelessly to care for the sick, treat the injured, comfort the unwanted, and protect the abused. We also offer human-animal support resources, low-cost veterinary services, animal control programs, and animal cruelty and humane law investigation throughout Berks County, Pennsylvania.

Seattle Humane promotes the human-animal bond by saving and serving pets in need, regardless of age, ability, circumstance or geography.

The mission of the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals - Angell Animal Medical Center is to protect animals, relieve their suffering, advance their health and welfare, prevent cruelty, and work for a just and compassionate society.

Mission Rabies is an international NGO headquartered in the UK with offices in the USA, India and Thailand. Despite being eliminated from many countries, rabies still takes a devastating toll on the world’s most marginalized and vulnerable. Existing models of rabies prevention remain inappropriate for implementation in most countries that remain rabies endemic, because they lie at the bottom of the UN HDR rankings. Since 2013, Mission Rabies has been implementing vaccination and education programs where the need is greatest, collecting evidence and sharing lessons to make global elimination a reality. The goal of Mission Rabies is to eliminate dog-mediated human deaths caused by rabies by 2030 through mega vaccination drives and educating communities at risk on the disease.

501(c)(3) liaison between area shelters, rescues and the public, helping abused, neglected, lost and abandoned animals. FoKCA pays for medical treatment of ownerless dogs, cats and the like that would otherwise receive no attention, helps pay for medical services for pets experiencing life-threatening illness or injury when owners cannot afford upfront fees for emergency care, and secures rescue for shelter animals.

FixNation’s mission is to reduce the population of homeless cats by sterilizing as many as possible while demonstrating the effectiveness of Trap-Neuter-Return and colony management for the humane care of homeless cats.
