The Elephant Sanctuary in Tennessee, founded in 1995, is the nation’s largest natural-habitat refuge developed specifically for endangered elephants. It operates on 2,700 acres in Hohenwald, TN – 85 miles southwest of Nashville. The Sanctuary exists for two reasons: • Provide captive elephants with individualized care, the companionship of a herd, and the opportunity to live out their lives in a safe haven dedicated to their wellbeing. • Raise public awareness of the complex needs of elephants in captivity, and the crisis facing elephants in the wild.

The Austin Humane Society (AHS) is an independent nonprofit shelter that offers comprehensive, humane, life-saving animal services. AHS offers innovative, nationally recognized programs that save the lives of thousands of dogs and cats each year. AHS' approach to addressing the critical needs of animals encompasses finding animals homes through adoption, serving animals and people in times of crisis, preventing future homelessness though spay and neuter programs, and engaging the community to be a part of the solution.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a private, non-profit organization serving San Diego County where "people help animals and animals help people." With 14 unique programs all dedicated to that mission, the Center provides lifesaving rescue and medical care to thousands of orphan pets yearly, animal assisted therapy to children and adults in need, and humane education to thousands of children, teaching them about the importance of fostering the animal-human bond.

PAWS is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia’s homeless, abandoned, and unwanted animals. PAWS is the city’s largest no-kill shelter and operates two high-volume, low-cost clinics serving pet owners and rescue organizations that lack access to affordable basic veterinary care. Through its adoption locations, special events, and foster care network, PAWS finds loving homes for thousands of animals each year. PAWS is working to make Philadelphia a no-kill city where every healthy and treatable pet is guaranteed a home.

The American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Charitable Trust was established in 2002 to protect and ensure the continuing health and welfare of the breed. It provides financial and other support for charitable, educational and research efforts for dogs and, in particular, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.
