Heifer International's mission is to end hunger and poverty while caring for the Earth in a sustainable way by supporting and investing alongside local farmers and their communities. Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. By supporting and training the world's farmers, ranchers, and female business owners, we're investing in a new breed of success. To provide a cage-free, no-kill shelter for our rescued animals where they can experience the best care in a loving environment until they are adopted. To find permanent, loving, homes for our rescued animals. To inform the public about pet overpopulation, promote sterilization and provide information for low-cost high-quality spay/neuter organizations.

The National Canine Cancer Foundation funds are used in eliminating cancer as a major health problem in dogs through education, outreach and research to save lives through prevention, finding cures, better treatments, more accurate cost effective diagnostic methods in dealing with cancer and diminishing dogs suffering from cancer.

The American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club Charitable Trust was established in 2002 to protect and ensure the continuing health and welfare of the breed. It provides financial and other support for charitable, educational and research efforts for dogs and, in particular, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

The Humane Society of Indianapolis (IndyHumane) is the leading voice for the welfare of animals and improving their quality of life. IndyHumane is the first choice in providing direct services for shelter cats and dogs, including adoption, foster home placement, behavior training, appropriate medical care, and affordable spay/neuter services. Rancho Coastal Humane Society is dedicated to saving lives of abandoned companion animals, promoting adoption into loving homes and offering education programs and support services that inspire and strengthen the human-animal bond.

The Humane Society of Broward County provides shelter, aid and responsible adoptions to animals entrusted to our care, and educates the community about respect and kindness to all animals. The Humane Society of Broward County relies on the generosity of our community and companies to fund our operations and programs budget. We do not get funding from the government, United Way or any other national or local organizations with similar names. Income sources are: adoption fees; services such as dog obedience, vaccination clinics, spay/neuter programs; pet boutique sales; fundraising events; grants; general donations and from those people who leave the shelter in their will. Every dollar is carefully spent to help the unwanted animals.

Hudson River Sloop Clearwater's mission is to preserve and protect the Hudson River. Inspiring, educating, and activating millions of people for nearly 50 years, member-supported Clearwater continues to lead the environmental movement, working to pass landmark legislation, delivering award-winning education programs, building grassroots support, and staging renowned musical celebrations. The sloop Clearwater offers programs on the vessel for schools and the general public that focus on the history and ecology of the Hudson, to date over 500,000 people have sailed aboard the sloop. Each year, over 15,000 people experience a Clearwater program - which have won multiple awards and served as models models for similar shipboard programs around the country.

The mission of the Washington Humane Society (WHS) is to protect animals in the Washington, DC area from cruelty and harm.  WHS, the only Congressionally-chartered animal welfare agency in the United States, has been the area’s leading voice for animals since 1870. As the only open-access shelter in the Nation’s Capital, the Washington Humane Society provides comfort and care to nearly 30,000 animals each year through its broad range of programs and services including sheltering for homeless animals, a comprehensive adoption program and off-site adoption events to find new families for the animals in our care, low-cost spay and neuter for pet owners and other local organizations, an aggressive TNR (trap-neuter-return) program for feral cats (CatNiPP), investigations of each allegation of animal cruelty or neglect through the Humane Law Enforcement, lost and found services to help reunite lost pets with their families, pet behavioral advice to help resolve issues that lead to animals being relinquished to shelters, working with breed rescue groups to find more homes for more animals, volunteer and foster programs to allow other members of the community to help us help more animals and an award-winning Humane Education program that teaches kindness to animals to the next generation of animal lovers.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO RESCUE ANIMALS, PRIMARILY DOGS, FIND FOREVER HOMES FOR THESE ANIMALS, AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING THE BENEFIT OF ADOPTION AND FOSTERING ANIMALS. THROUGH A FOSTERING AND EDUCATION APPROACH, EVERY PUP IS UNITED WITH THEIR PERFECT MATCH. THROUGH OUTREACH AND EDUCATION WE ARE COMMITTED TO PREVENTING DOGS FROM ABANDONMENT AND EASING THE STRESS ON OUR SHELTER SYSTEM.

The Vanderpump Dog Foundation, founded in 2016, is a 501c3 dog rescue organization working on both a domestic and international front to help create a better world for dogs globally. Although we are a Los Angeles based Foundation, our story begins in Yulin, China. After becoming aware of the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and witnessing the horrific images of slaughter and abuse that the dogs in Yulin face, our founders Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd began the long journey towards trying to stop the barbaric torture practices in Yulin and end the dog meat trade in Asia. Together with their partner, Dr. John Sessa, they launched the campaign Stop Yulin Forever. The movement gained momentum and has inspired activists all over the world to end the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and encourage more humane treatment for dogs worldwide. The Vanderpump Dog Foundation was formed to not only aid in ending this international atrocity, but to also better the lives of dogs domestically. The United States faces many problems of its own including dog overpopulation, abuse, neglect and lack of education with regards to spaying and neutering pets. The Foundation is built on a platform of education, legislation, and activism. The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has both short and long term goals. Our approach is both pragmatic and political. With grassroots campaigns like free spay/neuter days for rescue pet owners in Los Angeles, to global health studies with the World Health Organization to ban the consumption of dog meat, The Vanderpump Dog Foundation has a multifaceted approach to creating a better world for man’s best friend.
