Stray Paws Rescue is a foster-based rescue. Our organization believes it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of rescue dogs to place them in loving permanent homes. We pull animals from high kill shelters on their final minutes and off the streets in St. Louis. We feed strays and sets humane traps for the lost and dumped pets and rescue dogs from unsafe home environments to bring them to safety. Many times the dogs we rescue dogs have been neglected or have lived on the streets for so long they need vet care and special treatments. We provide necessary medical care our rescue dogs need so they can be healthy enough to adopt. Our mission is to save lives, keep our community informed on humane education, training and loving treatment of our companions, and finding the best fit for both the animals in our care and potential forever families! We are an all-volunteer, foster-based rescue organization we do NOT have a shelter. We are funded solely by donations and adoption fees and continually need contributions to continue our crusade to help as many homeless, abandoned animals as possible.
