Operates a no‑kill animal shelter that rescues, cares for, and rehomes homeless, lost, or injured companion animals; provides adoption and foster services and community education to strengthen the human–animal bond and reduce animal cruelty.

Dog Is My CoPilot transports at risk animals from overcrowded shelters to adoption centers in other geographic regions where loving families are waiting to adopt the animals.

The Berner-Garde Foundation was established to assist in efforts to improve the health of Bernese Mountain Dogs. The BGF is comprised of a voluntary Board of Trustees and other workers. Our efforts are designed to support scientific research into the causes and cures for genetic diseases and general health of our beloved Berners.To support these goals, the BGF:Maintains a computerized database to record information about diseases and general health observed in BMDs. Information in the BGF Database is publicly available online, free of charge to everyone.The BGF, with support from the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America, has established a repository of DNA and tumor tissue from BMDs. BGF supports research studies aimed at reducing the health problems found in Bernese Mountain Dogs

HALTER's mission is to use animals, especially miniature horses, to provide support and enhance the lives of others. This non-profit corporation was founded in August 2001 to train miniature horses as Pet Therapy animals for use by special needs children. HALTER actively participates in programs designed to meet the needs of all children to help them live fuller, happier lives. HALTER also assists at-risk teenagers by offering opportunities to participate in training and riding programs. These programs improve self-confidence, while allowing the opportunity for the participants to help others. As an extension of the at-risk teen program, HALTER provides a supportive, constructive environment for teenagers with court appointed community service to complete their hours of obligation.

Volunteers For Animals of Batavia is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) that supports the Genesee County Animal Shelter and animals in Genesee County, NY. They provide and fund medical care for sick or injured animals, run foster and adoption support programs, and promote spay/neuter, vaccinations and adoption to reduce homeless pets.

Grass Roots Rescue is an all‑volunteer 501(c)(3) dog rescue that pulls at‑risk and owner‑surrender animals from shelters and the community, provides veterinary care and foster homes, and places animals in permanent adoptive homes. They also run community outreach (spay/neuter help, food assistance, and education) to promote responsible pet ownership.

Their main goal is to find homes for stray or surrendered animals, no matter how long it takes. It is the only public, non-profit, no-kill animal rescue shelter in the local area, not breed specific, for both cats and dogs.

Living Grace Canine Ranch is a 501(c)(3) rescue/sanctuary dedicated to providing a permanent home for senior canines of all breeds that are physically, medically, and animal shelter 'un-adoptable' or rescue foster 'un-desirable'.We welcome them all with open loving arms to live life with dignity. Our mission, programs, and activities serve rural Texas communities that have little to no resources for saving senior canine lives.
