Tails Of Joy

Our mission is to make the world better for animals. We financially help the smallest, neediest rescue groups across America, and beyond. We help support the groups who do great hands-on rescue work, but are too small to fundraise in a big way, or get grants, and would fall through the cracks without us. We help people with pet financial emergencies. We also network and provide temporary assistance, boarding, medical care, pull fees, and transport, for desperate animals. We have a designated Spay/Neuter fund which awards "Little Guy Grants" for TNR and low income needs. We campaign and network for more humane laws in all areas concerning animal welfare. We are the place to go when there is nowhere else to turn, and exponentially have saved thousands of lives since we began.

Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue

Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue’s mission is to save unwanted puppies and young adult dogs from being euthanized in overcrowded kill shelters. We place these rescues with foster families until they are adopted to their forever homes. We promote our mission through educating the general public about spaying and neutering their pets, proper exercise, feeding, grooming and training. We take pride in the fact that we are a no-kill rescue and placement program that does not euthanize the animals we rescue if they are not adopted within a certain length of time. Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescues’ intention is to find loving FOREVER homes for these beautiful creatures through careful adoption placement.

LoveyLoaves

We are a special needs dog rescue based in Orlando, FL . Currently on the road to our dream of a South Carolina special-needs dog sanctuary, our passion lies with dogs that are viewed as "imperfect" or "different". Until the sanctuary project is realized, we work with a network of Central Florida foster homes and are always looking for foster families to partner with in order to save and rehabilitate dogs.

Wild Spirit Rescue

Welcome to Wild Spirit Rescue, a 501c(3) nonprofit horse rescue, that is working hard to save and help as many horses as possible. There are many horse who are neglected, unloved, and facing slaughter and who are looking to people to give them a second chance and fight for them. Wild Spirit is here to speak up for them and help them by giving these horses a second chance at a happy life full of love.  Horses have so much to offer than just being horses: they are healers and natural teachers, who can help us in our everyday lives.

Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary

Sometime back in the early 90's, author and founder of Proud Spirit Horse Sanctuary, Melanie Sue Bowles stumbled across this quote: "The Purpose of Life is to Live a Life of Purpose". She loved it so much that she stenciled the quote above a window that looks out over the pastures at Proud Spirit. It is the steadfast philosophy by which she has lived her entire adult life and unwanted, elderly and abused horses became her purpose. The sanctuary began with one horse in need on five acres of land in rural Florida and is now located on 180 acres in Lincolnton, Georgia.  Throughout the years, Melanie and Jim have intervened on behalf of over  300 downtrodden horses, many of them coming to the sanctuary to live out their lives in peace and dignity - a life that most of these sentient creatures had never known before.

Scottish Terrier Rescue of the Southeast

A Scottie Rescue is one who has been previously owned and whose owner can no longer keep them. They are turned in for a variety of reasons and come to us from many sources. Whatever the circumstances, they are in need of a good home, care, and love, and might just be the perfect Scottie companion for you. We work hard to make the perfect and forever match for what each individual Scottie needs with one of our prescreened applicants. We hope you will trust us with a Scottie you may need to re-home, instead of bringing them to a shelter or giving them away to someone who may not have experience with the Scottie temperament. We hope you will consider coming to us if you can provide a loving home to a Scottie who needs a second chance.

Woodruff County Animal Rescue Friends

We are a 501c3 non-profit organization who helps the homeless dogs of Woodruff County "Get A Life". We manage the adoptions at the Augusta Shelter and rescue dogs from the McCrory and Patterson dog pounds and off the country roads. We place them in foster homes and provide all vet expenses to get them ready for their forever homes. We operate on donations and adoption fees and with your help, we can provide these dogs a comfortable and hopefully temporary place to stay and continue our successful adoption program. To us, rescue isn't just about the dogs and cats. It is also about bringing joy and happiness into lives of adopters who have a void that only a furry friend can fill!

Small Dog Rescue & Humane Society

SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society, Inc. (SDR) is a 501(c)(3) Georgia nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to finding loving families for homeless dogs in Georgia. We rescue “at risk” dogs from local shelters and animal control facilities. “At risk” dogs are those who have run out of time at shelters, have medical conditions, or need more socialization before being placed in a home. We also rescue many highly adoptable small breeds – Chihuahuas, Shih Tzus, Pugs, Poodles, Dachshunds, Maltese, Terriers, Bichon Frises – it is a truly a myth that only mixed breeds end up homeless! Our volunteers work to socialize our dogs and provide them with loving care. Through our foster homes, we assess the dogs in a home setting, allowing us to better understand the kind of home and family the dog will need. SmallDog Rescue and Humane Society, Inc. (SDR) has now teamed up with Furkids, Inc. to help find more animals (dogs and cats) loving homes.
