Since 1953, the mission of their shelter has been to provide a haven for Huron county residents to safely surrender their animals when unforeseen circumstances come up. We accept dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals. We are unable to accept stray or outdoor cats and all stray or lost dogs must go to the Huron County Dog Warden. If you have any questions or would like to get on our surrender waitlist, you can give us a call at 419-663-7158, during business hours.

FPAC’s Mission StatementFarmington Pet Adoption Center is a limited access, no-kill shelter providing lifesaving care and treatment to abandoned and unwanted pets in Missouri’s Parkland. We find loving forever homes for every adoptable pet. In addition, we strive to reduce pet over-population, expose and assist in the prosecution of pet cruelty, and educate the public on responsible pet guardianship

Kitsap Humane Society is an independent nonprofit committed to providing positive life changing solutions to people and animals in need. We do so by: - Accepting, sheltering and rehabilitating companion animals in need. - Providing humane rescue, protection, prevention, adoption and education services. - Implementing progressive life-saving and life-affirming programs. - Collaborating and partnering with our region and supporters to build a model humane community.

Wolf Sanctuary of PA provides lifelong refuge and care for displaced wolves and wolf‑dogs, ensuring they receive appropriate habitat, veterinary care, and enrichment. The sanctuary also runs guided educational tours and public programs to dispel myths about wolves and promote wolf conservation and biology.

Happy Life Animal Rescue is a foster-based, Hudson Valley animal rescue that rescues abused, neglected, abandoned, and shelter-overflow dogs and cats, and works to place them in loving permanent homes. The organization also promotes spay/neuter programs, community outreach, and volunteer-driven support to improve animal welfare regionally.

Better Together Dog Rescue is a foster-based rescue that works to reduce euthanasia and find permanent homes for dogs by transporting and placing animals from overcrowded partner shelters, while also offering community supports (mobile pet food/supply pantry, spay/neuter and vet partnerships, and crisis fostering) so people can keep pets with their families.

Animal Care Society is a volunteer‑driven, no‑kill adoption shelter that rescues and cares for dogs and cats until they can be placed in safe, permanent homes. They provide medical care, community outreach, and adoption services to give companion animals a second chance while promoting humane pet ownership.
