Rescue City is a no-kill, non-profit pet rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption organization. We believe it is our moral responsibility to defend the lives of abused, abandoned, and neglected animals. We take on helpless stray and surrendered animals, as well as those at the top of the euthanasia list at local and national shelters. We place our rescues in nurturing foster homes while they rebuild their lives through physical and mental rehabilitation. Following a hassle free adoption process, our Rescues are placed in loving & committed permanent homes. Our commitment to our rescues does not stop once the adoption paperwork is signed. We stress the importance of responsible pet ownership, and we educate our Fosters, Adopters, and community on what it means to be a good pet owner.

The mission of Long Island Bulldog Rescue LIBR is to provide education, prevention, intervention, and adoption services to ensure that all English Bulldogs enjoy long, healthy lives in loving, safe, appropriate homes where they are provided the life-long care they require We commit to each English Bulldog and adopters we serve for the life of the dog. In the event that an adoption is unsuccessful, the dog is to be returned to the LIBR.

One Love Dog Rescue, Inc. is a 100% volunteer-based rescue group that is dedicated to the rescue, healing and re-homing of abused, unwanted, and abandoned dogs. All of our dogs live in foster homes with our loving and qualified volunteers who provide them with the care they need to heal and find their “fur-ever homes”.

Hurleys Heart Bulldog Rescue's mission is to Rescue Bulldogs in need. They provide Vetting and lots of TLC before placing them with appropriate Forever Families.

Remember Me Rescue NY is a foster based, nonprofit organization. They rescue and rehabilitate dogs from Long Island and NYC shelters - all ages, sizes and breeds.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them.  By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year, provide them with loving temporary care, and find them well-matched, carefully screened forever homes.  We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Satchel's Last Resort is a no-kill animal shelter/sanctuary whose mission is to Rescue, Rehab and Rehome dogs and cats with nowhere else to go because of breed, behavior or medical issues.

Leader Dogs for the Blind breeds and trains dogs (and future owners) to assist the blind. Our mission is empowering people who are blind or visually impaired with lifelong skills for safe and independent daily travel. SPCA Florida exists to eliminate animal suffering and to enhance the human-animal bond by engaging the entire community in the welfare and well-being of animals. We accomplish this by advancing model programs to promote the adoption of healthy animals, prevent dog and cat overpopulation, provide veterinary medical services for animals in the community, and keep animals in homes through relinquishment intervention strategies. Founded in 1979, SPCA Florida is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Lakeland. Dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in the community, SPCA Florida provides caring, compassion, and hope to more than 4,000 homeless animals entering our doors each year.

The CAT PROTECTION SOCIETY was founded by a group of volunteers who saw the need for a no-kill animal shelter within the county. The original shelter opened in early 1997 in a building which had housed the Lake County Humane Society. The urgent need soon exceeded capacity, and a larger state-of-the-art shelter opened in 2006 as home for 400 plus cats. The new shelter is located in Eustis, Florida on seven rural acres. The facility consists of a fully enclosed main building which is connected to two large open-air pavilions which allow the cats to climb and experience the outdoors 24 hours a day. There are also separate areas reserved for kittens and young adults, and areas reserved for cats that have tested positive for feline leukemia. Each room and the cats/kittens in them are cared for and maintained by the employees and volunteers of the CPS. Each day the litter boxes are cleaned, floors are swept and mopped, the furniture is wiped down and fresh food and water is given.
