We have a clear and noble mission: to care for pets, find them homes, and save lives. Every year, thousands of animals pass through our doors, each with their own story and need for love. Our organization operates under the vision that all pets deserve a healthy, happy life. This vision is put into action daily through a series of guiding principles designed to promote humane treatment, relieve suffering, and educate the community. Nestled in the heart of Northern Nevada, we stand as a beacon of hope and compassion for pets in need. As the state’s only open admission, high- save animal welfare organization, NHS helps nearly 18,000 pets each year. For over 90 years, our team of highly trained staff and volunteers have worked tirelessly to ensure that homeless pets get the care and second chance they deserve: a life filled with joy and health in a loving home. With a mission deeply rooted in care, kindness, and community engagement, we have become a cornerstone of humane treatment and animal welfare in the region.

We raise awareness and resources for homeless dogs and the heroes who fight for them through storytelling, photography, film, advocacy, education, and support.

The Worcester Animal Rescue League gives compassion to every being that turns to us for help, providing shelter and care for animals as well as respect and resources for people.

Since 1944, Heifer has helped transform more than 52 million households by working in partnership with the communities we serve. Our programs support entrepreneurs around the world, creating lasting change from the ground up. It begins with a seed investment of livestock or agriculture, followed by mentorship to help project participants build a business, and ultimately to gain access to supply chains and markets. These families are able to earn a living income and continuously lift up their communities as they train the next generation of leaders. By supporting and training the world's farmers, ranchers, and female business owners, we're investing in a new breed of success. Palm Springs Animal Shelter is the only public shelter in the Coachella Valley operating under the no-kill philosophy. We are managed and operated by Friends of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter a 501(c)(3) organization (TAX ID 33-0731853) dedicated to responsible pet stewardship and the humane treatment on animals. We depend on our community to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, and most of all, to believe that together, we can save lives.

The Ocean Cleanup is a non-profit organization developing advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. The Ocean Cleanup has three core approaches to tackling plastic pollution: 1) Clean legacy ocean plastic - Since 2018, The Ocean Cleanup has deployed technologies to remove plastic that has accumulated in ocean garbage patches. It's current system (System 002) has removed more than 225,000 kg of plastic from The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. 2) Turn off the tap: The Ocean Cleanup also develops and deploys Interceptor technologies that prevent plastic from reaching the oceans via rivers, focusing on 1000 rivers that are responsible for 80% of riverine plastic pollution. To date, 19 Interceptor solutions have been deployed across 8 countries. 3) Research: In the process of understanding the problem, The Ocean Cleanup has become a global leader in field research on marine plastic pollution.

Our mission is to conserve polar bears and the sea ice they depend on. Through media, science, and advocacy, we work to inspire people to care about the Arctic, the threats to its future, and the connection between this remote region and our global climate.

Helen Woodward Animal Center is a private, non-profit organization serving San Diego County where "people help animals and animals help people." With 14 unique programs all dedicated to that mission, the Center provides lifesaving rescue and medical care to thousands of orphan pets yearly, animal assisted therapy to children and adults in need, and humane education to thousands of children, teaching them about the importance of fostering the animal-human bond.

At Providence Animal Center we offer exceptional, affordable and life-affirming rescue, adoption, medical care and training of companion animals and serve as a community resource that inspires others to embrace the human-animal bond. Providence Animal Center is a 501(c)(3) private non-profit, charitable organization registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State. We are not affiliated with any local or state government or federal agency. Our work is supported entirely by private donations.
