A non-profit organization since 2006, PIP is run by a volunteer committee comprised of several members of the Saskatoon business community who are dedicated to providing a humane and safe environment for Saskatoon's animals, as well as representatives from the local animal welfare agencies: New Hope Dog Rescue, SCAT Street Cat Rescue and the Saskatoon SPCA.

Primary Fundraiser: Annual Pets in the Park held on a July Sunday and includes music, food, demos, walkathon, trade booths and silent auction. A fun day in the park for the whole family including the family pet (on leash). Great opportunity for the pet to socialize with other pets and for pet parents to meet other pet parents.
