The primary purpose of the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital Foundation is to enhance the quality of health care in our community by raising money for the needs of our Regional Secondary QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie, Alberta. The Foundation plays a critical role in funding for essential specialized equipment, major projects, patient care programs and education, many of which have no other funding. We are a vital link between the many regional residents and the QEII Hospital.
Due to our continuously challenging health care climate, the Foundation must make every effort to help our hospital meet the growing needs of its community as well as the needs of our Regional residents.
As an organization entrusted with the stewardship of donor contributions, we strive to match the wishes of our donors with the priority needs of our Hospital. If a donor wishes to support a specific program or department of the Hospital, the Foundation ensures that the gift is used as intended.
