Pledge to make a difference, together.
In 2006, the LHSQ inaugurated the Morrin Centre. This new cultural centre is located in a historic building that has housed the LHSQ’s library since 1868. In December 2004, ownership of the building was transferred to the Society, which is now breathing life into spaces unoccupied for over a century. Library services have been improved and new cultural services implemented. The Morrin Centre currently offers a wide range of activities including readings by prominent authors, discussion groups on a variety of stimulating topics, writing workshops, poetry classes, theatre and much more.
