Meet Betzabeth Vicent. Through the generosity of the Springer-Lu Foundation, CelloBello was able to provide scholarships to many promising young musicians around the world to participate in our programs. One such talent is 19-year-old Betzabeth Vicent, from Venezuela, who participated in the Audition Preparation Workshop in November of 2021. The program provides aspiring cellists the opportunity to work directly with professors of cello from a variety of conservatories and colleges to become better prepared to successfully perform auditions. “Having gained the experience of taking classes and lessons with these amazing teachers, who shared all of their knowledge to help us reach our goals and prepare for successful auditions, was really amazing. It was one of the best musical opportunities I have had in my career so far.” – Betzabeth Vicent Betzabeth is not alone, as she was one of many students who participated in this program over the past two years, and who are now better positioned to pursue their ambitions and represent themselves well in all future auditions.
