Our Mission
Nalani Horse Rescue (Nalani is Hawaiian for “the Heavens”) is a non-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to horse rescue and rehabilitation. Our mission is to provide care and rehabilitation to horses who have suffered abuse, trauma and neglect, bring awareness to the plight of unwanted horses as well as provide education on proper horse care. At Nalani, we are committed to giving these horses an opportunity to meet their potential in a loving, healthy and trusting environment.

Our Impact
3 months ago — Nalani Horse Rescue
At 23, Pride spent her entire life as an Amish buggy horse. When she could no longer do the miles, she was dumped in an emaciated condition, starved, and yet still wearing road shoes. After almost a year of good nutrition, vet cared and lots of love, she has blossomed into a gorgeous horse who is sweet and enjoys being groomed and loved on, soaking in the kindness she has never known.
3 months ago — Nalani Horse Rescue
Angel was rescued from New Holland Sales Stable in 2021. Emaciated, practically skeletal, she was visibly shaking in the sub freezing temps. She was shut down and terrified of humans. Through time, patience and a lot of love, she has now blossomed into a great beauty who trusts and enjoys being with her human friends.
